It's been a while since I've been here. Actually I'm replying through a Mystic Board I'm setting up.I Followed Jeffs instrutions for the Qwk setup and it worked like a charm.

As a far as the Mustang III goes I purchased a
solid-state fender amp but I'm not exactly happy with it. Is sounds too tight to me. I've always used tubed amps so I'm in new territory with solid state amps Tube amps are expensive now. I thought the Mustang III may have done a better job emulating tube amps.That's why I asked about it. I've seen plenty of youtube videos on it and I liked what I heard and saw. I'm not sure if those videos are the right way to shop for an amp but it's a good start. Gotta love technology. I had to go to the Music store to try out amps. ;-) Now I can listen and look online, buy it and have it shipped without ever leaving my room. It's a beautiful thing.:-)
Although the Mustang III might not sound 100% like a Twin Reverb (which I was using before), I think it's close enough. And at the price of the Mustang III, I think the amp is a great value. I also found an amp cover that fits my amp like a glove, so I can keep it protected for dust & things (we also have 2 cats that like to sometimes jump on things, and hopefully the amp cover should protect the amp from the cats when they claw at it - and we get after them for that).
Aside from the Fender Mustang amps, I've also heard good things about the Boss Katana modeling amps. Those might be worth looking into. If I had known about that before I bought my Mustang III, I would have looked into the Boss Katana amps myself.
