I don't really like Sublime, but I saw someone post in another forum about Sublime, and I like the idea of MusicalNet so I think I'll tell a story here that doesn't involve going to see old prog rock with your parental units.
Anyhow, I had tickets to go see Sublime at the old Maritime Hall in San Francisco and we drove into the city for the show. However, when we got there people were walking away from the show, saying that the singer had O.D.'d. We got to the door and they told us he had died.
The next day, I took my ticket back to the Record Store and got a refund for something like 13 bucks. I kind of wish I had that ticket so I could sell it to some rich douche from San Diego. I probably bought a few used tapes w/ $.
Actually I've been to lots of concerts and met quite a few musicians. Worked in the industry for a bit.
I have stories that will blow your mind. (some of them are true)
