I'd just like to announce that The Citadel BBS is now a member of MusicalNet.

This is great! I would assume that there are musicians out here...?

I've been playing guitar for 22 years...

    Anybody else around?

    -Rassilon...

Killer...Let's jam...we don't even need to be in the same part of the country...I can send you MP3's...and if you have software to add/edit it, we can jam....that'd be cool!

(I can send you .wav files or even Cakewalk files)....

    Let's rock!

I haven't done a whole lot of computer recording, although that is something I've messed with a little and wouldn't mind doing more of.

Actually, I haven't either...I don't even play as much as I used to. I met a guy in a bar down here who plays & I've jammed with him a couple of times.

I used to play bass for some time in a school band but never really became kind of professional. But I've started working with GarageBand using self-made smaples (mixin FX from C64 game tunes with regular loops). Don't know if this counts as being creative and playing music, but it's what I do from time to time. But I'm thinking of purchasing one of those USB I/O interfaces that you can use to record your guitar or bass directly on a harddisk.

    Of course that counts!!

My friend just bought one of those & he could get it installed but it wouldn't run...I had to come over & make changes to his windows registry to get it to work. Be careful what you buy!

Sorry if I sounded like I was placing blame.. I actually had a small problem with my QWK networking recently due to something I did in my Synchronet configuration (which I've fixed), so there was a chance it may have been my fault too. :)
