    comedians. I guess that I am a collection of all of them, as we ALL are.

    How do you calculate how many degrees? Is that just manually counting from a genealogy program?

    Great question! Perhaps the connection is through my maternal grandparent. Already
    that is 3 generations. Then, the connection could be from their spouse or maybe
    another member of the family. They marry somebody who marries another, etc.

    It is also possible that your spouse could have a totally different connection to that same
    person by her side of the family. If go far enough out, eventually everyone is a cousin
    to everyone else.
