• Models, R/C cars, etc.

There's a hobby store near me that sells model kits, R/C car kits, R/C airplane kits, model trains, etc. I've always enjoyed going there when there's something I wanted to buy.

Model kits were something I enjoyed building sometimes, though not very often. One time (1994), I bought a model kit, glue, and paint for a BMW Nazda Z2 (?), and I think it turned out fairly well. Years later, I bought a model kit for a Star Trek USS Enterprise-A (along with paint and glue). I was happy with how it turned out, though I realized I didn't glue the bridge module on properly, as it was crooked. Also, one thing that sucked was that I had to move right after I built that, and then moved again months later, and the warp engines & model stand broke, and it was never the same again.

Sometimes I've thought about building an R/C car, though I'm not sure how often I'd use it, or where I'd use it.

Models are something I built as a kid, then got back into it years
later, then out again - etc. :-) I have over a dozen unbuilt kits
    still waiting. :-)

I had several on my shelf at work once - enjoyed having them there for
people to see when they came in - but once I packed to move they were
never the same either. Can be sad, but I find that the relaxing act of painting and assembly the primary thing and not having the finished
    product.

I've never thought about one, but would be cool I think. If someone gave
me one I'd check it out. LOL
