No, but there is something dystopian about DRM and some of the other "digital only" things going on lately.

And the impact on the people _trying_ to do the right thing reliably seems to
way more than it stopping people doing pirating.
Agreed. The only time I have had DRM stop me from doing something, it was
when what I was doing was ok. <shrugs>
