    Hi, Paulie.

Lemme know if you know of the next hotness that I'm missing out on!! :P

A personal favourite of mine (if you're using xterm) is mapscii.me - I wish it supported oldskool ANSI clients but I still think it's cool.

These are some fun terminal connections that produce cool graphics...

I'm using SyncTerm and Except for 1984 and BBBS I wasn't able to connect with any of them. I either got Unresolved Addr. errors or just no connection.

I could tell 1984 was displaying some sort of animation, but it showed up as garbage characters. BBBS worked, but I didn't get past the registration stage.

I should have noted - these are for running in the CLI, or powershell on Windows.

SOME will work in Sync, like telehack.com - but most do neat graphical stuff that work in a regular terminal. :P

These are cool. Not sure I'd want to try and have my BBS users run them
    tho.

    ssh starwarstel.net

I run my own version locally.

    telnet telehack.com
    Yup.

    telnet bbbs.net
Isn't this just a bbs like any other BBS?

    telnet moocow.mud.org 7777
There's over 500 mud, mush, moo, muck, talker, type sites out there
still. See The Ultimate MUD Connector under Mud/Maze on my BBS - endofthelinebbs.com

    telnet dfun.tw

    hangs trying to connect.

    telnet rainmaker.wunderground.com

    host rainmaker.wunderground.com
    Host rainmaker.wunderground.com not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)

    long gone

    nc -v 23 towel.blinkenlights.nl

Doesn't work. Wasn't this the BOFH excuse server? If so that's now at

    bofh.jeffballard.us port 666

    Yo could also look for

    First internet backgammon server
    Free internet chess server
    NASA JPL Horizons

There's also a bunch of game servers

    and Anonymous Archivers gateway.

I'm also on the look out for more fun telnet stuff.
