Just pondering if there is merit in creating a new echo with a focus on any chatter about new / current technologies? I ask this as it occurs to me there is no real place for such chatter set aside in fsxNet and that FSX_RETRO is all about the older tech - clearly a reasonably popular newer fsxNet echomail area.

Thoughts and feedback appreciated. I don't want to create an echo that in the end does not have much going on it in... so will approach this warily.

I wasn't aware that FSX_RETRO was limited solely to older tech. I had understood the description to mean 'retro computing and/or (any) tech chat'.
My mistake... :)

I could see a use for such an echo area. But, as you say, there's no point in creating it, if it's going to be wasted, and it seems that any tech
discussions are already taking place...

When it comes to a new echo, I'm always in two minds LOL, but a definite maybe from me. :)

I think it could be a good idea, although I don't know how active I
would be there.
But maybe I could ask some questions about how I could set up my NAS
in its next generation or what nice PC mainboards there are nowadays
:)

So I would be 'pro' this new echo.
