  • NNTP To?

    Hi Everybody!

    Probably a noob question:

    If I have NNTP enabled in Mystic & am using a client like Thunderbird to read/send messages, how would I address a message to somebody? It seems putting To: <username> on the first line of the message would make the
    most sense, but that doesn't seem to work. Am I missing something, or
    is this just not possible with NNTP?

    Also in Thuderbird I manually type my tagline and it somehow adds an extra period to the tagline... *scratches head*

    NNTP convention is usually to write posts in newsgroups to 'All'.

    That said I'm fairly sure in the past when I have tested posting to
    'echomail' groups via Mystic NNTP server and a client such as Pan I've been able to do what you seek.

    I'm time poor for the next 2-3 weeks then hope to have some time to play with this and get back in BBSing again.
