  • qwk network message formatting

    Hey g00r00,

    I think there's an issue with linewrapping of messages that originate from
    qwk based networks.

    To repro, join DOVENet (login to vert.synchro.net and create an account with
    a username/password to be used for transferring mail packets) and notice that linewrapping doesn't work at all in Mystic, and for some reason all >79 character lines lose the final character.

    Let me know if I can help with a repro any other way or provide any other
    info.

    I too have this issue. I figured it was an artifact of QWK and Synchronet echos. I'll be interested to see what the internal issue ends up being.

    I too have this issue. I figured it was an artifact of QWK and Synchronet echos. I'll be interested to see what the internal issue ends up being.

    I suspect its their editor sends things out on the 80th column and Mystic's template by default stops it at the 79th for terminal compatibility.

    But then again if that is the case we should see it in echomail too as it'd
    be an artifact of what Synchronet/Mystic are doing not QWK itself.
