    Is there a way to have Mystic create a message in a area when new files are added to the system? (via tick?)

    I don't think anyone has replied to this... I believe Black Panther released a File Announcement mod - it was long ago, so I don't remember the name of it but I'm positive it's on 2oFB in LocalZzZ/Black Panther (or RCS) Mystic Mods.

    ... also, I know that several other BBSes post File Announcements here on fsxNet; theres even a Message Area for them?? You could go read their File Announcements and I bet the software/mod they use it tagged...

    Hope this helps - I was going to do this for 2oFB, too - maybe I should go l00k.

    Yes as Paulie has mentioned Black Panther did put out a mod some years back. I can re-hatch it to the BBS utils file echo if you like. Are you after the Linux or Windows version?
