    Okidokie!

    So it's the cassette! My cassette's largest rings (for all my climbing) have sharp fin shaped profiles... This is likely why I was having to much issue. Chain tool showed less than 50% wear on that part and derailer alignment isn't that bad. Probably should have guessed that at my sort of mileage things would be work. Here in the endless mountains they aren't awfully high but as the name implies we're all mountain bikers no matter what sort of frame your riding and I used to love kill climb challenges.

    Next up, well see if BiCylE CommUtEr Man can manage to do his own cassette swap out!

    I miss being a bicycle commuter.. those were the days... I'll settle for weekend warrior.
