  • pfsense, squidguard and clamav

    My clamav service won't start. I get the following messages when updating:


    ClamAV - freshclam Logs
    Message
    Testing database:
    '/var/db/clamav//tmp.c633017ccb/clamav-74a2c4a112731a6c5414a d4a83efbd76.tmp-daily.cvd' ...
    daily database available for download (remote version: 27485)

    ERROR: Update failed.
    ERROR: Database update process failed: Test failed
    ERROR: Unexpected error when attempting to update daily: Test failed
    ERROR: Database test FAILED.
    ERROR: Database load killed by signal 9

    Any ideas? I posted to r/pfsense and was told just not to run it... I
    posted to the netgate forum and haven't gotten an answer in a couple of days.

    Nevermind, I'm running an NG1100 and it's not powerful enough for this. If
    I'd known that ahead of time, I would have purchased something beefier..
