    A blustery day across Connemara with cloud and outbreaks of rain, heaviest during the morning. Northwest winds will gust to 40-50 kph, strongest along exposed coasts and islands where gusts may exceed 50 kph at times. Cloud will be extensive early on with mostly cloudy to cloudy conditions prevailing, but some brighter intervals will develop during the afternoon, particularly in southern and inland areas. Rain will affect most areas with a 50 percent chance of precipitation, bringing 2-5 mm widely. Temperatures will reach 14-18?C, coolest on the islands and exposed coasts, mildest inland around Oughterard. The wind will gradually ease through the day but remain fresh throughout.

    Today's unsettled conditions will continue into tomorrow night with further cloud and rain developing after midnight. Patchy fog will form in many areas, particularly inland and sheltered valleys. Rain chances increase to 50 percent overnight with a further 2-5 mm expected. Northwest winds will ease from around 20 kph in the evening to 13 kph after midnight, with gusts decreasing from near 38 kph to around 27 kph. Temperatures will fall to 10-12?C, coolest in sheltered inland spots, mildest on the coast.

    00-06: Cloudy with scattered outbreaks of rain, chance of rain 40-50 percent. No fog initially. Temperatures falling from 12-15?C to overnight lows of 10-12?C. Northwest winds easing from 28-30 kph gusting to 42-43 kph down to 20-22 kph gusting to 37-40 kph.

    07-12: Mostly cloudy to cloudy with outbreaks of rain becoming more widespread, chance of rain 50 percent. Patchy fog developing inland. Temperatures rising slowly from overnight lows to 13-16?C by midday. Northwest winds continuing to ease to 13-21 kph gusting to 26-38 kph.

    13-18: Partly to mostly cloudy with scattered showers, best bright spells developing inland. Rain becoming more isolated, chance 30-50 percent. Fog clearing. Temperatures reaching afternoon highs of 14-18?C. Northwest winds 13-28 kph gusting to 26-43 kph, strongest on coasts and islands.
