  • Build "For Honour" for Xubuntu

    Hey Apam / Anyone that can help.

    I am attempting to try and run "For Honour" on my Mystic BBS running under Xubuntu and having issues getting it to build.

    I noticed in the build.sh it references git cloning odoors from magickabbs: git clone git://git.magickabbs.com/odoors

    But it throws the following error assuming it is no longer available from
    here?
    Cloning into 'odoors'...
    fatal: Unable to look up git.magickabbs.com (port 9418) (Name or service not known)

    Is there some other location I can pull the odoors source from to try and build?

    I think apam just changed where is repo is at... I'd have to look back
    through the messages to find the current location.

    For those of us who are tracking using git, you can edit .git/config and change the remote origin url to https://gitlab.com/apamment/odoors

    Same goes for the other projects that apam hosted on his git repo on magicka before.

    You could use:

    $ sed -i 's/git.magickabbs.com/gitlab.com\/apamment/g' .git/config

    Do this in each project base directory.

    Hey Andrew -- are you still working on builds for For Honour?

    I found a potential bug -- I think I may have gotten the exact number of experience in order to train as I get this message to when I challenge the trainer:

    Not an urgent fix as I can get more xp tomorrow but assume the XP check maybe
    vs >= ?

    Just thought I'd note it in case you kept a list of issues :)
