    A predominantly cloudy day with mostly cloudy to cloudy skies persisting across all of Connemara. Outbreaks of drizzle or light rain are likely at times, particularly during the early morning and late afternoon. Fog patches may develop in sheltered inland areas during the early hours. Temperatures will range from 6-8?C overnight to 11-14?C by afternoon, coolest along the coast and mildest in sheltered inland valleys. Winds will strengthen through the day, becoming fresh to strong and gusty from the east-northeast, with the strongest winds affecting western coastal areas.

    Eastern parts of Connemara including Oughterard will see slightly better conditions with occasional brighter spells possible, while western coastal areas from Clifden to Cleggan remain predominantly overcast. The persistent cloud and easterly winds will keep temperatures suppressed, with a notable wind chill especially during the afternoon when winds gust to 40-47 kph. Visibility will be reduced at times in drizzle and fog patches, particularly across higher ground and coastal areas during the night and early morning.

Morning fog patches will clear quickly, giving way to partly cloudy to mostly sunny conditions inland and along sheltered coasts, though cloud will be slower to break over exposed western areas and the islands. Temperatures will reach 23-27?C across mainland areas, warmest inland at Renvyle, Glinsce and Kylemore where 27?C is expected, while coastal and island locations will be cooler at 19-23?C. Fresh northerly winds of 15-21 kph will gust to 32-42 kph, strongest over the islands and western coasts. Tomorrow night will remain dry with clear spells early, though cloud will increase from the west after midnight. Winds will stay brisk from the north at 13-25 kph with gusts to 34-41 kph, while temperatures drop to 13-15?C.
