The US has already attacked more than 5,000 targets in Iran. Yet, the war is far from over, no matter what Trump says.
The US claims it has closed the Strait of Hormuz itself, but ships are afraid to pass through because of the Iranian threat AND the fact that shipowners are uninsured.

Trump signaled yesterday that he wants to end the war with Iran in two weeks, no matter what. Why, then, would Iran agree to any settlement whatsoever? Iran has won this war, despite the enormous blows it suffered. The fact that they were not defeated on the issues of regime change, uranium enrichment, and the Strait of Hormuz is the victory.

The relationship between the US and Israel has come under great pressure. Trump called Netanyahu an idiot, and that is not exactly a term of endearment for the boss of the US. (You read that right)
The war between the US and Iran is becoming 'hot' again. Fighting is once again taking place involving drone and missile attacks back and forth. The Strait of Hormuz remains closed.
