  • E-mail validation sending and timing of prompt output?

    Hello g00r00!

    When performing e-mail validation, it appears to me (judging from log and screen output) that prompts #547 and #548 are displayed in one go *after* the SMTP handshake/sending, i.e., that there will be a noticeable delay (a couple of seconds) between the user hitting Enter and the prompt output showing up.

    Is this also so for you? If you have second, could you please check in the source code when those prompts are output?

    Sometimes a prompt can appear to display like that because I forget to push out the contents of the outbound buffer before something that will take some time happens. This is one of those cases. :)

    I'll get this fixed up for you in the next build.

    In the current version of Mystic for Windows is the e-mail validation broken? I added it to the menu but after selecting the menu option it's not doing anything.

    I haven't heard of anything. You have to go into Servers>General Options and configure your SMTP server for it to work.

    Your node#.log file will contain a log of communication to the SMTP server when a user tries to reset their password so you can go there for more information.
