Considering the abundance of free music online, I never felt the need
to pay a services for it, but I do use a few services: I Heart
Radio, Pandora, Soma FM and Tune-in. What's nice is that all these
are available through my Echos.

Huh! Interesting. How does that work exactly?
The speakers use WIFI to connect to your modem/router. You use the Alexa app (iPhone or Android) to configure the connection as well as the various services (a.k.a., "skills") to your Echo. So I have skills setup for services I mentioned. By default, it's setup for Amazon Music.
