I recently have read "Vulcan's Hammer" by Phillip K Dick,
and found it wonderful. Do you guys know the book or this
author's works? What are your thoughts on it and what else
would you recoommend?

I believe taht what these books do (and the whole
genre...) is coat up in "sci-fi" a commentary of how
crooked and flawed humanity is. It doesn't matter how much
tech you throw over it, people will be mean to people (and
corporations to the common public), in the end.
