I remember when the stores has TI 99/44.
I played with one once to find out to get IT to print my name I had to press a
Function Key with the p key for my name to appear on the monitor screen.
When I was young, they would have computers out for demo at places like
KMart and Aire-Way. I don't remember which brands... like Commodore or TI... and have things running. I would always want to stop and play with them. I think my parents, when I was with them, probably got to where they avoided the electronics area if at all possible. ;)
