George,

What's up?

Have you untagged FUNNY in your reads these days?

Not that I know of...I must have a feed problem somewhere.

The only reason I'm up at this hour, was that severe storms
moved through a bit ago, and I just brought the system back up.

I will be going back to bed after I'm done, and I don't plan
to go out again until later in the week...unless I see something
important in the P.O. Box via the USPS app. With storms forecast
on Wednesday, and rain on Thursday, I likely will stay home both
of those days.

Feed hiccough?

We had some huge winds(60MPH) & rain(6 inches in 36 hours) but I slept through most; my family wasn't so lucky. . . :(

Now it's done & we're backl to the usual south coast/lower valley drear with bits of sun here & there to give us hope & a pittance of Vitamin D.

I'm eating a daily immunity booster regimen of vitamins & minerals these days.

Slow Release VitaminC
Multivitamin
Zinc
Magnesium/Calcium/D3
the occasional quart or two of homemade spicy chicken soup

Cabn't be too prepared for infection this time of year, during a pandemic.

I think my dentures ran around $2,000. I got the porcelain ones and look perfectly nature.
I had been working a ton of overtime (12 hour days, seven days a week for three months) and paid cash for them.
I believe in putting my money where my mouth is. :)

They fit so perfectly, that I haven't had to use one bit
of PoliGrip, Fixodent, etc. on them.

I don't use any either, no need.

Joe,

These are the best dentures I've had, and rarely have to have work done on them.

I believe in putting my money where my mouth is. :)

There was a product, either a mouthwash or toothpaste, that had that as
their slogan...but the product name escapes me.

I don't use any either, no need.

And, with the prices of everything going up, wherever you can save
money, helps all the more.

Lately, we've gotten "liquid sunshine". :P

If it weren't for liquid sun, we'd get no sun at all, it seems! We don't tan in the summer, we rust!

I had a telemedicine conference this morning, and they recommended because of hypertension and a high BMI, that I get the booster. But, with 2 clinic visits in mid-November...having to need some prescription refills soon (I may have to wait until Friday to do it, because of storms)...and having to be isolated at home for 2 weeks after the shot...I'm having to work the schedule, as it were.

Check your vaccine card from the first,m & google the exact variant name & number you got; mine(Pfizer) says, in the official monograph: "Do not issue booster--dangerous" (this was after I'd already had second shot, though *sigh*)

I've survived, plus I need my passport QR code lookup to say "fully vaccinated" for some venues, not "partly vaccinated"(single dose)

Now they're talking about another booster to come out soon; I'll be making the vax nurses explain, in full detail, why they are contravening the official Health Canada-issued monograph, & trying to endanger my health.

Apparently the COVID vaccine causes constipation
When I got mine the other day they told me I had to wait 4 weeks to get number 2.

I want to tell a vaccine joke
But some won't get it

Watching the movie ' Grease ' to take my mind off some vaccine side effects, however..
I got chills..they're multiplying.

My vaccine dad joke failed
But it was worth a shot

Yesterday I received my second round of the Russian covid-19 vaccine...
It appears completely safe, with иo side effects whatsoeveя, and I feelshκι
χoρoshό я чувствую себя немного странно и я думаю, что вытащил ослиные уши.
(I feel a little weird and I think I pulled out donkey ears.)

If you and your buddies should all get COVID vaccines and the doses need to be kept in freezers...
then you're cracking open a cold Bud-Pfizer!

I asked the nurse giving me my covid vaccine if she moonlights as IT
because she seems really good at installing antivirus!

I finally got the Covid vaccine yesterday and as I was driving I noticed my vision was blurry. I called the vaccination center and asked if I should go to the doctor or hospital. They said no.
But they encouraged me to immediately return to the vaccination center to pick up my glasses.

My employer now gives two weeks off to recover from the vaccine.
They call it Modernaty leave.

George,

Got a new vet who's not as bad/greedy as the last one, but I still need to start tightening the chain on him, though. :(

Well, it had been 6 months since I had the second one...and except for
a sore left shoulder (the same thing after I had the second shot), I was
fine. With the colder weather, the arthritis hurt more...and I had a bad
IBS attack the night before...so, I was sleep deprived. I crashed out much
of yesterday afternoon.

I've survived, plus I need my passport QR code lookup to say "fully vaccinated" for some venues, not "partly vaccinated"(single dose)

I bought 3 lanyard deals with clear pouches from Amazon. One of the
lanyards broke, but I was able to put my COVID-19 card in it, and then
ziplock it shut. This way, it doesn't get dog-eared in the wallet, and
it's there at a glance.

Better stock up on Miralax. <G> Speaking of which...

Facebook has changed their name to Meta -- rumor has it Twitter will change its name to Mucil. So, that means we'll all be on MetaMucil every day. No wonder social media is so crappy. <G>

Was listening to an old guy from the '40s doing comedy on the radio & he says, "I was kissing my date, then she crossed her legs & broke my glasses!"

Always milk it for paid time off!

I miss getting such!

Q: Why is milk taller than you?
A: Because it's always pasteurize

Q: Do you know why it's called almond milk?
A: Because nobody would buy it if it was honestly named nut juice.

Q: What do you call a cow that can't produce milk?
A: An udder failure

Q: What type of bees produce milk?
A: Boo bees.

Q: What do you get when you drink milk?
A: A moostache

Q: How do you milk sheep?
A: Release another iPhone.
