  • kicked off the internet

From August Abolins@2:221/1.58 to All on Mon Mar 7 12:07:00 2022
Still, due to political issues the openness of the internet is
coming under increasing debate. Ukraine has asked that Russia
be essentially kicked off the internet by killing their top-
    level domain names in DNS.

Many other countries such as Russia and China effectively
create their own internets by tightly controlling the internet
    inside their borders.
