During my check-up I asked the Doctor, "Do you think I'll live a long
and healthy life then?"
He replied, "I doubt it somehow. Mercury is in Uranus right now."
I said, "I don't go in for any of that astrology nonsense."
He replied, "Neither do I. My thermometer just broke."
I chuckled, but I thought about groaning in pain on that one. :P
That's like the one where this nurse worked a double shift on Thursday
(which was her Friday)...however, she ended up working Thursday afternoon, overnight, and Friday morning. Understandably, she was exhausted.
Well, she goes to the bank on the way home to deposit her paycheck,
and inside the bank, she goes up to the teller to fill out the deposit
slip, show her ID, and sign the check "for deposit only". Well, she looks
in her purse, and instead of a pen, she pulls out a rectal thermometer.
She grumbles "Some @$$h0le has got my pen". <G>
