Does anyone know the kludge name that can be used to notate things
such as an editor or basic/general notes?

The FTN kludge (control paragraph) used for message editor/version is called "NOTE". FTSC_PUBLIC would be a better echo to ask such questions though.

I suppose that is a Synchronet extension? No where is it documented by the FTSC...

SBBSecho will add the kludge, but Synchronet/SBBSecho didn't introduce it. I first saw the NOTE kludge used in this way with external message editors such as QuikEdit and DCTEdit.

X-FTN-Kludge NOTE: TIDE 1.01 [UNREGISTERED]
X-FTN-Kludge NOTE: TIDE 1.10 #22

So someone should write a ftsc proposal for this kludge. Aren't you a ftsc member? ;-)
