Is there a way to make a specific echo area private from general mail users? I host micronet and there is one echo meant only for mail hubs and somehow a user was able to add it using areafix, I mean I know how they did it, but is there a flag or something in hpt that would prevent users without auth adding that echo?

Yes, "levels" will help you with that. (lr and lw - read/write respectively)
Set your nodes at one level, and make the inaccessible areas a higher level.
Appreciate that Deon, I was reading that as well.. So on the one line in areas_micronet for that particular echo meant for hubs only I put -lr 50 -lr 50 and set all my downlinks to level 10, that should do it? I also put hide in that line I believe that will hide it from %LIST areafix requests?
