• The latest launch

My wife and I set the alarm for 5:45 AM this morning so we could view the launch. Our
lanai faces east and we have an unobstructed view for miles with no ambient light at night.
We are about 20 miles south of Tampa, a perfect location to view the launches.

Sure enough, we saw the launch countdown, the liftoff, and 3 minutes later we looked up
into the sky and saw it live at 6:01 AM as scheduled.

This is the 4th from our home and many more even when we lived in the Fort Lauderdale
    area.

You're viewing the launches from Tampa, which is at the West
coast of Florida? The launch must be a tiny streak from that
    distance.

I'm reading that the SpaceX lauches are also taking place in
California. Are both launch schedules intended for the Starlink
    satellites?

It's amazing how well that bright light appears at night. It is visible (on a clear night)
for about 5 minutes or so), We can even see the second stage as well.

    Not sure about that, sorry.

It *is* a lot of fire-power after all.

One launch probably cancels all the green-house emmissions
advances that the majority of the population makes.

I never thought of it that way. Yikes!
