    Title: Tax Day Casserole
    Categories: Pasta, Sauces, Cheese
    Yield: 8 servings

48 oz Prego Chunky Gardn Spaghetti
    - Sauce
2 lb Ground meat; beef, pork, or
    - turkey/chicken
1 ts Salt & black pepper
2 ts Mrs Dash seasoning salt
    2 ts Garlic powder
    1 tb Sugar
    1/2 c Water
1 ln Penne pasta: cooked al dente
    1 c Shredded cheese; divided

Grease a large casserole dish with butter, set aside.

Pour spaghetti sauce into large saucepan or pot; simmer
on medium low heat, keep stirred.

Brown ground meat and drain. Add cooked meat to the
spaghetti sauce and mix in all the seasonings.

Pour the water into the spaghetti sauce jar, shake it
up, and add it to the meat sauce. Add more or less water
    as needed

Continue to simmer the meat sauce for one hour.
Simmering the sauce will increase the flavor of the
sauce and break down the structure of the meat into a
better consistency. Remember to stir the sauce while
    it's simmering.

Turn off sauce after one hour. At this point you heat
    your oven to 350oF/175oC.

Add pasta to meat sauce, mix well.

Spoon half the mixture into a 9" X 13" casserole dish.
Sprinkle on half the shredded cheese. Spoon remaining
mixture and top with remaining cheese.

Bake covered for 35 to 40 minutes.

NOTE: spray foil with nonstick spray if using it to
    cover casserole. Enjoy?
