    Hello All,

I was bored after having a big Thanksgiving dinner and reworked a utility I wrote a while back called SWait. SWait is meant to delay the execution of a batchfile until a semaphore file is deleted.

This time around, with some help from Nick Andre (D'Bridge developer), I wrote a DOS version with good timeslicing. I've released three versions: SWAIT02D.ARJ (DOS), SWAIT02P.ARJ (32-bit OS/2), and SWAIT02W.ARJ (32-bit Windows).

I have not hatched out via my Fidonet CH-WARE filebone yet as I need to get things reconnected due to changes in the IFDC administration but you can download SWait from my BBS and my website. As soon as I can get that fixed, I'll hatch them out.

    Hi everyone,

I released the 64-bit Linux version of NODECONV today. NODECONV will
convert a FTN-style net/node address to and from decimal and hex. The
filename is NCV01NIX.ARJ. I hatched it into CH-WARE and that -should- be working. If not, I'll put it up on my website. It is available from my BBS and via BinkP FREQ.

    Sean,

I received it in the CH-WARE file echo at about 16:38 CST, and also got
it in the MIN_BBS file echo at 17:15 CST. Thanks!

    Hello Dan!

17 Feb 25 19:56, you wrote to me:

Thank you for letting me know. Vince was telling me that his system was having issues with ARJ and I suspect he's using MBSE's default ARJ settings which are wrong, so I sent him a screenshot of my ARJ settings in MBSE. At least it got out!

I never got around to sending out a Linux verion of NODECONV because I was sick at the time and had a lot going on. It was only this afternoon I realized that I'd not released a Linux version (I had compiled a version for my own use) so I got around to doing it.

It's been so long since I'd done any programming that I had to spend a few minutes figuring out how to use the scripts I wrote to help me compile under Free Pascal then remember how to hatch with MBSE. XD

Something I am working on is making a Pascal unit to convert FKFOSSIL's commands to use stdio instead of a doorkit for Linux. I am just so dang busy these days with my health. I am hoping to get a better schedule worked out so I can program more.

Vince actually (without my permission) removed CH-WARE from the filebone because it was "inactive". I gave him an earful and he set CH-WARE again in the filebone.

I actually have a lot of things planned out but I can only dedicate a couple of hours a week right now to programming. I hope that changes soon!
