    I have been getting them twice a month here. Have also seem some traffic re: a new anti-bot program. Maybe the sysop at 4d2 has a feed issue?

    I wonder if it is being removed by more aggressive dupe checking on some boards, in particular synchronet boards.

    yes, it is likely this... i know sbbs does also checksum message bodies in addition to the headers and control lines... even if the header date is different, the message body may still trigger as a dupe... the only real way around this is to modify the message body to also contain the date of the posting... or at least something in the body that changes with each post so the new post is not seen as a duplicate...

    there is also a setting in the tosser for whether to pass on detected dupes to one's links... i have this one set to pass them on in case other systems have missed them via other paths...
