Question. And not the answer. I get almost the same file, iplist.lst, every week into R50ROUTE. Some weeks it never changes so BBBS sees it as the same file. I need to turn off file dupe checking in the file echo R50ROUTE :)

If the file comes to you through TIC distribution, then the problem is with who creates the TIC file and forgot to put the REPLACES keyword (with the correct value: the iplist.lst file). AFAIK, BBBS handles perfectly this optional clause.

I've just checked my inbound and I have a lot of bad ticfiles produced by the same behaviour that you have raised. :-/ Or, we have ghosts everywhere, or there is something in the btick process.

I should post some of my other scripts to github. Some are not complicated but I also have one that reads the Linux Kernel mailing list and posts each new message to an echo
