  • printfile issues

    Hiya DM...

    I've been running a script for quite sometime called Last10.src. I have the following section:

    TIME T
    FTIME_STR STR "%I:%M " T
    fprintf file "\r\n |15U |15%2.2s" NODENUM
    fPRINTF file "|07 %s " STR
    fprintf file "|07sl%-2.2s " SL
    fprintf file "|15%-15.15s" HANDLE
    fprintf file "|07%-23.23s" LOCATION
    fprintf file "|15%-19.19s|15U" COMMENT

    fclose file
    set top "%N..\\exec\\LCALLHD.ASC"
    set mid "%jlast10.dat"
    set bot "%n..\\exec\\lcallbot.asc"
    PRINTFILE top P_OPENCLOSE
    PRINTTAIL mid P_OPENCLOSE 10
    PRINTFILE bot P_OPENCLOSE

    I just made a minor change to the lcallbot.asc without increasing the lines.


    I saved it in block mode as an ansi and then coverted.

    The lcalltop.asc is 8 lines. Then there is a space. The last10.dat is
    exactly 10 lines then another space. The lcallbot.asc is 4 lines. Add a
    ll lines only works out to 23. Before I made the change ALL three would
    appear on the same screen with [Hit a Key} at the bottom. Now what's
    happening is the lcalltop.asc and the last10.dat is showing on the console
    then [Hit a Key]. I hit a key then the lcallbot.asc appears with another
    [Hit a Key]. As I stated, it was working. WTF did I do?

    that's an oldie, too.
    anyways, you have too many lines. zip up what you have and send it to me and i'll fix it. they way you worded it, it made my head hurt.
