I want to start my own hub with a focus on programming but I also want
to make sure that all the nodes which are connected to my hub are
uniform in the way they present themselves to their users, hence I want them to use the Bootstrap web interface found on many BBSes's HTTP
portal such as eChicken BBS or DarkAges BBS.
I was also thinking about more deeper things, like are there ways to
get the BBSes to sync in a peer-to-peer way without a central hub?
Anyway, that is why I came and posted here today.
Further help or suggestions would be nice. I am thinking about writing
up a manifesto for the network as well. It will be a nice little side-prohect/hobby for me as a programmer.

I've logged into the hub and checked the message bases and it's been several months without a post.

Thank Nick. I was merely stating that I hadn't seen any traffic
recently. I'm not looking to start my own network, someone else was.

When replying to a message, it helps if you quote the message you're replying to (at least the part of the message you're replying to). Otherwise it can be hard to follow the conversation.

I find this focus on web interfaces to be odd for a BBS network, though I would like to install echicken's web interface on my Synchronet board for those users who prefer to use the web (not me! :) ).

I just like to have it. Works well on mobile.
I do enjoy using telnet and NNTP tho. :) I don't mind the web interface for general use either.
