Hello all. I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm in the Hobby group because
I love to tinker. I'm 48 years old and live in northern Kentucky. I've gota
woodshop in my basement that includes a CNC router that I put together myself.
I've also got a corner set aside for dabbling in electronics. I've got a couple or so Arduinos and a Raspberry PI. Upstairs in my office, I've got a3D
printer that I'm more focused on these days.ing
I read the first couple messages in this forum/conference and they were talk
about model railroads. I never got into that hobby but my grandfather was a total fanatic. By the time he passed away, he had left behind a beautiful village that spanned two walls, stretching at least 40 feet. His was all n-gage sized trains.
Well, that's me. Looking forward to meeting everyone!
James

Once in a blue moon I might get the urge to build a model kit. The last one I built was in 2007, a USS Enterprise A model. Then I moved a couple times and it broke, and I eventually got tired of gluing the pieces
back on and having it still be fragile due to breaking. :/
This year I pulled out a model of the Defiant (DS9) that I had held onto since a birthday back in the 1990s. Built it with my son. We got as far as the first coat of paint, but then kinda put it on hold. Need to get it back out and finish it off.
