  • USB Mobile Sticks as Dial

    Hi ALL,

    Just a quick question, Maybe a silly one but here goes?

    I was given a number of Huawei E160G USB Mobile broadband sticks.
    I have about 8 now! All on the three (3) network in Ireland.

    Is it possible to use these wonderful devices as Dial Up Modems?
    I have a few people in remote areas that can access the 2G portion of the network but cant use the 3G as the signal is not that great.

    I was hoping to give some of my users these devices so they could dial into my bbs?
    I would also keep one to attach to the BBS.

    Three in ireland have a package on their pay as you go with unlimited calls to other 3 numbers so this would be great for them to get access to the BBS?

    Am I just mad, Would it work, Can you do it ?
