employees to work from home at unprecedented rates. In Canada Internet traffic
is increasing and some telco's are struggling with capacity including voice
circuits. Although we are far from catastrophe, is anyone in the HAM community
thinking about the consequence of further desegregation and if ARES will have a
role to play? This is more of a thought-provoking discussion rather than intimating we are on a path to destruction.

I was idly thinking about this the other day, mostly wondering how bad things would need to get and how many things would need to go wrong
before ham radio had any role to play. The answers I came up with were "really really bad" and "lots and lots of things would need to go
wrong".
