    Was at a gunshow here over the weekend, and I do believe I saw the next gun I'll
    be buying. This one happens to be the Kel-Tec SUB-2000 in .40 SW. Looks like a
    decent pistol caliber carbine for the RV, backpacking and so on.. Has anyone out there had any experience with this particular firearm?

    Not this particular model. Had a Kel-Tec .32 as a conceal carry for awhile.
    The only thing I'd say is, you get what you pay for.
    Have you look at the XDS or XDM in that caliber?

    Apologies, perhaps the original post didn't make it clear that I was
    looking at pistol caliber carbines. I already have a carry pistol, I was looking for a general fun type carbine that I could conveniently store
    within the confines of my RV...
