BBS is the company name. It's apparently a German company, and BBS stands f the first letter of the founders' names, as well as their town's name: Baumgartner, Brand, Schiltach.
I have had some offers over the years for BBSing.com etc...

Yeah, BBS is a company that makes wheels/rims.. They're popular for some cars.

I think a lot of those are probably scams so they can get your domain for free.

A friend of mine has a son that got offered 40k for a domain he registered that was some kind of bitcoin related name. Thought it was a scam, but it was all legit and and he flipped 40 bucks into 40k, not too bad.

that's pretty rare nowadays. especially with all the domain suffixes
you can get.
