i know some guy took it over but i'm not sure if i

there's no way to email him on his bbs.
For a while somebody else was hosting it, but nobody used it and he shut that down eventually.

It was called SciNet but was not really about science. It may have had a science echo, but most of the echoes were about BBS-related topics.
