    Just popping to say hi! I'm a new(well sort of) SysOp.

    I used to host a bbs before but now I am getting back into it!

    Welcome. :) It can be a fun hobby.

    It looks like your message was posted from the username "Vetbbs" - Did you set up your Dove-Net account as a QWK account? If not, you may want to check with Digital Man on Vertrauen to make sure your account for exchanging messages on Dove-Net is for QWK (it would need to have the Q restriction).

    It's still a work in progress and not really "open to the public yet". lol
    I guess all bbs' are technically a "work in progress", aren't they?

    Hey Vetbbs,

    Pleasure to meet you, and welcome to the BBS scene! I've just discovered (re-discovered?) the BBS scene after a 30+ year hiatus from it, if you can believe that! Imagine my surprise to see SynchroNet alive and well. I was pretty active in the 813 WWIVnet scene back in the late 1980s and early 1990s. It's definitely gratifying to see people actively participating in both opening boards and sending messages to them.
