    no it's just an encrypted protocol and you see the bbs same as telnet if you have the right client.

    I assume that's not something I'm gonna do with Netrunner for Windows. I should look into other clients.

    Is it possible to VoIP call a modem to connect to a BBS? Is there any videos or articles of people doing this?

    Common word is that digital VoIP interferes with the call and makes the connection unreliable at best.
