    Hey folks!

I ran a WWIV bbs back in the early 90s and thought the BBS world went away with the internet. Anyhow, I've taken a look at SynchroNet and decided to try it out. I've just thrown it up but I plan on adding games and eventually build it up.

If you get a chance, come by and say hi. unnamedbbs.zapto.org

Mine crashes all the time. I have build 59 cause the pthers wont run at all on my computer. I might go back to 4.30 one day. untill they fix the old beast.

We are still alive, even WWIV. I run a very modified WWIV 4.24a over here on telnet. There are a handful of others out there, too.

I'm very happy to see message networks still alive and well - regardless of the
    BBS type.

Are you using TCP as a FidoNet->QWKnet gateway for DOVE-Net?

Yes. Using WWIV, I'm limited in my options.

I am able to do FTN (thanks for WWIVTOSS and D'Bridge), or NNTP using D'Bridge or WINS (WWIV software).

TCP was nice enough to offer me an FTN feed.

I tried to compile WWIV 5 and i get so many errors and its not fun.

And Going to 4.30 isnt fun either since you cant have a crapload of subboards.

Would you happen to remember the limit for subboards on 4.30? I will have to look that up, as I don't know what it is.

I have not run into a limit on my 4.24a, but there may be a limit. I should be
able to get around that since I have the source and could make the proper changes to add more.

hi, can I get a copy of the wwiv 424a source code?
I lost mine and the new owner of it wont post the old source code and 5.0 sort of leaves me cold.
