I'm going to start taking an ASP.NET class, which starts tomorrow. I haven't developed in .NET much, but I have used C# a little bit and have enjoyed it. I downloaded Microsoft's free ASP.NET development tools, including Visual Web Developer Express, and I think it's pretty cool that it lets you put together a user interface and handles the HTML and CSS for you, as well as do the .NET back-end programming.. It seems that ASP.NET is in high demand, at least where I am. I am looking for a job right now, and if I could find a place doing C# application development or ASP.NET development using Visual Studio's designer, I think I would enjoy that (of course, there are other factors too, such as the company, other people working there, location, etc.). :)

I've been taking an ASP.NET class for about a month, and I really like what you can do with it.. In many ways, it does for the web what Visual Studio does for desktop software development.
