    I'm not sure if it happened or not yet, but if I ended up sending a bigass packet of dupe messages upstream to you guys, I'm very sorry about that. After just getting everything hooked up and working again, not to mentioned restored from backup due to numerous hardware failures, I ended up waking up last night to a thunderstorm in my bedroom. A quick series of about 12-15 really bright blue/green/white flashes from inside of the case of one of my mini-towers in here, accompanied by the loud popping of electrical arcs. Then the room filled with smoke & ozone. No breakers or fuses blew; I thought it was capacitors exploding. Got the UPS powered down and the breaker cut. Checked everything out this morning and there weren't any huge electrical burns through any of
    the dust or anything, much to my surprise. In fact I couldn't find anything obviously fried out, but that machine isn't working. Had to recompile from source again because I'd only just done it before in a clean-on-reboot tmp directory when I got it up and running the night before and then a bunch of other crap happened. Looked like it sent out a huge packet when I finally got it running again.
    Now I'm running a fever and feeling damn near delerious. It seems that Loki has found me again. Gahhhh

    I'm sure that DM's system picked up the dupes and deleted them before sending them down their merry way...

    Now I'm running a fever and feeling damn near delerious. It seems that Loki has found me again. Gahhhh

    I certainly hope that they did, if they went out. I know that some of the systems have dupe checking going on, but I've seen floods of them make it onto the network regardless at times...

    Thank you for the well wishes; my fiancee just had a fluish illness with very similar symptoms that lasted about 36 hours. Thought I had come down with the same thing, but I'm feeling a lot better now after only 8-12 or so. Hopefully it doesn't kick my ass again while I'm at work today. :)
