    I got the new SlyEdit and I saw where you had to upgrade/update Synchronet?
    I have only been working this software a couple of months, what are they talking about?

    that origin line tells me it came from my Mystic board. Slyedit is used in
    my Synchronet board

    If you want the new tagline support in SlyEdit to support all features, you will have to update Synchronet to the latest binaries. I believe the daily/nightly snapshot is named sbbs_dev.zip on the Synchronet website.

    Basically, Rob added some support that helped SlyEdit's tagline functionality, and where it was located when posted at the end of a message. So both will have
    to be updated in order for it to work as expected.

    Though I believe if SlyEdit is updated, and Synchronet is not, SlyEdit will check to see if you're using the correct version of Synchronet, and if so, utilize the new feature. Otherwise it will fall back to it's old way.

    Thanks so much for that info. Little by little I am learning more about Synchronet software. Working on learning about the command shells, not much info on the wiki site.
