    Is this normal or are you using a special editor?

    There are editors out there that allow you to VIEW hidden kludges. They aren't normally shown in regular messaging. But having the option to see those kludges
    can help when testing.

    In other words, they're not "getting all the SEEN-BY kludges in their editor", they're hitting a key to view those kludges, and when you view those kludges, you can reply with them in tact to show a poster's original message and how it traveled to them.

    GoldEd/MsgEd/TimEd as well as Mystic and I'm sure some others have this feature.

    The kludges can be viewed in both golded and mystic by pressing "V" to view them when reading a message. Other editors can view them too, maybe they need different options.
