The last really good one I played was Terminator 2 themed.

I have fun house installed on the Visual Pinball rig here, I love it.
One of these days (If you stop making me buy bbq's) I will save enough
to build out a proper pinball setup.

Do not install visual pinball unless you want to lose a few weekends!

    some odd reason. :P

When I had the house I had converted the front "master" bedroom into

First off, one must never stop buying anything related to BBQ. :)

This looks pretty interesting, though. I'm not sure I'd want to create
my own stuff, but just to check out anything the community has created
over the years sounds pretty cool.

I played so much that after I sold my pool table (to a good friend, so I
can still go see it, or play on it whenever I want to, lol), I don't
think I played again for a good 10+ years. Which is unfortunate, because
you end up really bad after that long without playing. :)

That's where I went. Took me weeks to install and play them all. My
desktop isn't really powerful enough for it anymore. I need to spend
a bit of money on that one, but there always seems to be something
    more important.

I probably would have been better off going that route. Instead, you tend to expect to be good, and when that doesn't happen you get frustrated and play even worse. :)

You need a powerful PC to run a pinball game? Or is your PC just /that/ old? :)

They call that 'tilting' in the card game realm (think Magic: The
Gathering and Pokemon, etc.). You have a bad run and it snowballs...

I don't know that they know it comes from the old pinball days. :-)

    Tee-hee. Zinger?

To be honest, it was. One night, after going out with some friends we
decided to go back to my buddy's house (the one I sold my old pool table
to) with some beers and low and behold, went downstairs and there she
    was, in all her glory!

I had damn near forgotten that I sold it to him, and was like "man this
    table looks so... nevermind." lol

We played for a couple of hours, and while I wasn't nearly as bad as I
thought I would be after not playing for so long, I was definitely rusty.

    Nick
