    I finally got around to watching Evil Dead after all these years. It's not my favourtie, but I watched all three movies and the TV series.

    It was entertaining...

    OOhhh, nice. Evil Dead 2 is definitely an all time favorite of mine, though I definitely wouldn't describe it as gothic horror. Watching them in order would be kind of odd though, given that 2 was kind of a remake of 1 despite canonically being a direct sequel, but it's way different tonally, and of 1 itself was remade like 10 years or so ago but bears no resemblance to the rest of the Bruce Campbell stuff.

    Ive recently learned all this. The TV series was awesome. Very entertaining and his lines remind me of something of Duke Nukem.

    ... Running Windows is better than washing them!

    Oh yeah, Evil Dead was definitely an influence for Duke 3D. I think even a few of his quotes are pulled from there.

    I don't think I have seen either of those, I'll have to check them out. I love horror and sci-fi movies. I have a pretty nice collection on a little personal media server I built years ago.

    Gothic horror.. maybe Castle Freak, the one with Jeffery Combs not the terrible remake. Not too gothic I guess but it takes place in a castle! lol

    Another that freaked me out years ago was about a vampire named Radu, also shot in an old castle. He had absurdly long nails and was ugly as shit. Can't recall the name off hand but should be easy to find. There were several sequels, each worse than the last.
