• Announcing x/84 bbs v2.0

From dingo@46:1/140 to all on Sun Jan 25 20:34:06 2015
Its been almost a year since my last release. I've had a lot of contributors working off of the 'master' branch on github for far too long. Most of you probably never heard of this project, I don't talk about it here much anymore, but it is just another bbs server written in pure python. In such case, it is probably best to explain x/84 in how it compares to the others:

For those who haven't seen it in over a year, you can take a look at telnet 1984.ws (or just ssh anonymous@1984.ws with any password, if you like). There is a general "What's new" as well as a look back over the past 10 years and looking forward to the future on my bloggie-wog

    Congrats on the new release!

Just FYI Neither Mystic or Synchronet require 3rd party software, databases, users to use... and both are multithreaded single process servers. Really
that only applies to Daydream, I think.

Awesome man! When are you going to get it hooked up to Agoranet so we can pester you about it? :)
