• Mystic Lord port; some questions

From Gryphon@46:1/116 to All on Sun May 10 12:19:03 2015
    Hello all,

As you know, I've started a Mystic MPL version of LoRD. I would like to make it adhere as closely as possible to the original. That means that I would
like to include the various added events, etc.

Lord has a scripting language called LADY. I would like to include its functionality into my port, so that existing lady scripts can be used without being altered in any way. This is proving to be a problem. So now I'm wondering how much of a problem would it be to just add the ability to
include MPL IGM's instead of incorporating the whole lady scripting features.

    Your input would be appreciated.

Speaking as a would be user of the MPL I would say drop the lady scripts if they are proving to be a problem and just go with the MPL IGM's. You can
always revisit the lady scripts if you feel the need to.

Completely non developer point of view but that's the best I can do.. :)

Thanks for the input. That helps.

But having said that, I just *have* to try and puzzle through it and try to implement Lady. Because to go the route of doing it via MPL, then I would
have to essentially develop an MPL IGM toolkit too. But, that would be six
of one, half a dozen of the other.
